It is the cosiest at Tannette’s Villa (12 m2), and the most frequently booked. Situated on the first floor, with its sloping ceiling, it gives the impression of a small hidden nest overlooking some beautiful big trees of the tropical forest.
There's a nice big bed (160/200), cabinets, mosquito nets, a safe and AC, as well as a private bathroom with washbasin, shower and WC (white bed linen and towels).
This room, like the other two rooms on the same floor, gives access to a living room opening on to a light and airy balcony with deckchairs and a view on the tropical forest. For your comfort there is a fridge in the living room as well as a tea/coffee tray. The covered staircase gives access to the living room on the first floor as well as the spacious garden.

Tannette’s Villa

To welcome my guests I have built a 5 bedroom creole villa in my property (2 on the ground floor and 3 on the first floor, which is accessible via a covered outdoor staircase).
The bedrooms are simple but impeccably clean, fitted with a comfortable bedding, well equipped and decorated tastefully.
Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, cabinets, mosquito nets, a safe, AC, etc. Communal areas are there for your convenience.
The villa has an Internet access at the office to send occasional emails via cable. Heavier downloads can be made at the Internet Café (10 minutes far off on foot) or by means of a 3G card.
The villa is ideally situated at about 800 metres far from the seaside, at the end of a flat forest path. Nestled under the big trees of the tropical forest, the villa enjoys a remarkably calm and preserved environment and is close to the most important places of La Digue (shops or beautiful beaches).
This central position in an authentic Diguois area allows you to reach in 10 minutes by bike (20 minutes on foot) both the Source d’Argent Estate and the Severe beach (located all along the coast). When back from the beach, you will enjoy the quietness of the place and the songs of the rarest birds on the island. The garden offers shower, tables and sun umbrellas. It is carefully landscaped, secure and has a free access for the guests.

Included services:
To fulfill your requests as soon as possible, I am available in the property most of the time.
The house cleaning is done every day, the garden is raked and tended to every morning.
The towels are changed every two days, the bed linen twice a week.
A fulfilling varied breakfast (served on the terrace) is included in the price of a double room.

Extra services:
Being a professional cook, I will be very happy to give you an authentic creole meal served on the terrace for about 22 euros per person (reduced price for children 11 euros). I will also happily cook for people with special diets.

At your arrival at La Digue harbour, I can organise your transfer by taxi.
Apart from a few taxis and some utility vehicles, motorized vehicles are forbidden on La Digue: On our small island we walk or we ride a bike in order to respect nature, keep the tranquility and bring happiness to all, especially children.

I rent bikes (for adults and children) for about 7 euros a day each.
(Reduced price in case of numerous rentals or longer stays. Child’s seats available.)

Extras are not part of the booking and payable at the end of the stay. You can decide as you wish, of course, but please, let me know in advance if you want a taxi, a meal on the first night or a bike from the first day on.

Born myself on La Digue Island, I can tell you about the secret beaches of the island and the most beautiful walks. I can also put you in contact with friendly professional guides to help you organize your trips, your sea outings (fishing, snorkeling or diving trips) to the nearby islands.
